Over the past seven years, my journey as a therapist has led me to offering support to individuals and relationships as they navigate their unique paths toward a deeper self-knowing and healing longstanding wounds. I find immense fulfillment in working with individuals seeking liberation from societal and familial expectations, those carrying the burden of ancestral legacies, and anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, I welcome those requiring support in fully expressing themselves and finding their embodied “no” and “yes”, individuals engaged in spiritual practices, creative types who need out-of-the box approaches to therpy, those navigating life transitions, people who need support with shadow work, and those seeking psychedelic preparation and integration.

As a somatic informed therapist, I view therapy as a creative collaboration between the mind-body and therapy container that is co-created

My therapeutic approach is rooted in family systems theory, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and an awareness of internalized oppression. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I tend to work well with a variety of relationship formats and expressions of sexuality.

I recognize that human suffering and resilience is deeply connected to our personal histories and socio-cultural contexts. Within the vast interconnected web of life, understanding the influences of our families, cultures, and communities gives weight to how we relate to the complexities of our own psychological landscapes. Acknowledging our human struggles often have roots in systemic influences, my hope is to support your curiosity, openness, and capacity for positive change through a compassionate self inquiry.

I am currently in my second year of training as a Hakomi somatic therapist which incorporates mindfulness, Internalized Family Systems (IFS), relational repair, psychodrama, and Sensorimotor psychotherapy. I have also completed training in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy, Holotropic breathwork, and more. As a member of the C.G. Jung Society, I frequently incorporate archetypal work and dream exploration in therapy, aiming to illuminate the diverse facets of the self that steer our unconscious behaviors, thoughts, and actions. I also find the lens of neuroscience supports a scientific understanding of behavior change, and how the intelligence of our mind-body connection synthesizes important information that helps us survive, creates patterns of suffering, and allows us to thrive.

Before venturing into therapy, my background was in filmmaking and visual art. For the past 20 years I have delved deeply into Buddhist meditation practices, music, and yoga to be in direct relationship to my inner world and body. I draw from these experiences to support you holistically as the complete, creative, and intelligent human being that you are.

My ancestral roots include people from Eastern and Central Europe, Ireland, the Sephardic Jewish diaspora, and the Nansemond tribe of Virginia. I found that there is much healing to be experienced when we open ourselves to stories of those who came before us. I honor my ancestors through ritual, art, dance, song, and food, as well as donations to causes that directly connect to my lineage. .

I am committed to doing my work, and I intend to offer a welcoming and grounded refuge for those seeking a deeper connection with themselves. I am committed to self-reflection, ethics, and open dialogue. To ensure that I am seeing you as clearly as possible, I attend supervision in contemplative psychotherapy with Naropa University’s Uğur Kocataşkın, PhDc, and participate in a peer consult group exploring the impact of internalized oppression in the therapist-client relationship. For client protection, no PHI is disclosed in my ongoing supervision.

My hope is for you to come home to yourself and find that you are already whole, just as you are.
